Listening Importance

Hey, guys ! How are you doing ?
Let me ask you something : how do you expect to learn a second language without LISTENING to that language ? Many students of mine beg me not to speak English all the class, but come on , guys ! No way to learn without practing your ears !!! I recommend a very interesting site, just for listening, which is :
www.esl-lab.com . Try it ! Remember: it can look difficult at the first times, but you have to insist, ok ? ''No pain, no gain''....

Dica Importante Simple Present

Hi, people !

Bem, hoje quero falar sobre um assunto que, mesmo sendo ensinado no nível básico, pega muito aluno e falante de nível intermediário ou acima . É  a concordância do Simple Present : lembrem-se :
Todas as vezes que falamos de rotina, as três pessoas do singular tem uma particularidade . Na forma afirmativa, acrescenta-se ''S'' ao final do verbo . Exemplo : Sofia works a lot . Foi acrescentado o ''s'' ao verbo WORK . Na forma negativa, usamos DOESN´T como forma de se falar ''NÃO'' . Observe : Sofia doesn´t work in January. Ah, vocês vão dizer , mas eu aprendi isso nas primeiras aulas de Inglês que eu tive, sim ! Mas MUITA gente se esquece de conjugar certo, é aquela velha história de saber na teoria e esquecer na prática , sabe ?
Contudo, alguns de vocês podem já ter percebido que alguns falantes, nativos inclusive, não fazem o uso correto dessa estrutura. Exemplo claro: estou lendo um livro no momento chamado '' Last Chance Saloon'' , escrito pela escritora Marian Keyes, que por sinal, é excelente. Mas, para tornar os diálogos mais parecidos e reais, ela deixa escapar esse erro GRAVE em algumas situações. Na nossa própria língua , vemos também erros de concordância, não é mesmo ? Mas, vamos evitar, ok , folks ?

Day 1 : Welcome !

Welcome, everyone ! This is our first contact, and I truly hope it will not be the only one . It´s with great pleasure that I start my blog today. As you could see, I´m an English teacher and I´ve always wanted to share the things I know, the things I want to share, the things I don´t know ( why not ? ) , videos, images, messages, stuff  in general !
